- It causes decongestion by constricting blood vessels in the eye. It enlarges the pupil, and reduces the amount of fluid in the eye in two ways: I) Reduces the production of fluid inside the eye. II) Increases the amount of fluid that drains from the eye. It reduces congestion and swelling when applied to the mucus membranes. Chlorpheniramine It is an alkylamine derica five with the actions and uses of the histamine H1 receptor antagonists. It also possesses mild anti-muscarinic action. The Perfect Combination for relieving redness, puffiness, itchy and watering eyes associated with cold, allergies or eye irritations
