- ? A systemic alkalizer. ? Produces alkalinization of urine from acidic pH. ? Alleviates the discomforts in urinary tract infections. ? Forms soluble complexes with calcium by reducing urinary saturation of stone forming calcium salts. ? Prevents development of uric acid renal calculi in uricosuric therapy for hyper uricaemia.
